Three Improvements. Two Target Groups. One Stronger Supply Chain.
The better buyer requirements and manufacturer capabilities align, the smoother the entire supply chain runs. The February update addresses exactly that - with three targeted improvements that directly benefit both sides.
1. Complete File Continuity – Precise Data on Both Sides
Partfox now natively supports STL, DXF, and TIF files. A reworked, expert-driven analyzer delivers interactive previews and high-precision data extraction - for both 3D printing and sheet metal. Technical data stays consistent and accurate from the first upload to the final quote.
For buyers: Upload files directly, without external conversion tools. No data loss, no manual rework. What gets uploaded is exactly what the manufacturer sees.
For manufacturers: Open STL and DXF files directly in the interactive 3D/2D viewer - no external tools needed. Original high-quality files are always available in the project ZIP. Technical specs are precise and ready to use immediately.
2. More Precise Matching – The Right Connections, Every Time
Partfox now prioritizes Precision Matches - manufacturers with verified machine dimensions - and seamlessly supplements them with General Capacity Matches. The result: requests find the right partner, without detours and without compromise.
For buyers: Your RFQ lands with the manufacturer that truly fits - not just the next available one. The RFQ wizard works harder for you and ensures your project never stalls.
For manufacturers: Accepted Tender Areas filter your inbox consistently. Only requests that match your regional and quality strengths are shown. This reduces irrelevant leads and creates space to win more of the right work.
3. Faster Quote Creation – Less Effort, Better Decision Basis
The overhauled extraction tool processes complex tables and technical requirements with significantly higher accuracy. Cut lengths, hole counts, volume, surface area, watertightness - all calculated automatically at upload and available immediately.
For buyers: The complete decision basis is there before the first request goes out. Faster decisions, shorter turnaround times.
For manufacturers: Less manual entry means faster quotes and more time for what truly matters: manufacturing. The reworked tool reliably handles complex technical requirements - and significantly reduces errors in quote creation.
